ABOUT

Join a Powerful GlobalInitiative ...

We are a dedicated group, who have come together, to ensure that each individual will have the right to claim the vast treasure of space. While this may seem a far off adventure, many of the world's billionaires are lining up to advantage themselves of the great fortunes to be made. Surprisingly, "The Outer Space Treaty" of 1967, gives us all the right to "claim" space. In much the same way we all have the right to "claim" a domain on the internet.

Who Wants To Be A Trillionaire?

There are millions of asteroids in our solar system. Because some are full of materials that are rare on Earth, they have been valued at stupendous amounts. But the most valuable resource in space may be something that's abundant back on the ground.

Elon Musk: The City of the Future

From SpaceX and Tesla, to his own school (Ad Astra), Elon Musk is developing companies and ideas that look to bring humanity forward.

How Asteroid Mining Will Save Earth

Don't forget the fact that asteroids will contain vanadium, chrome, cobalt, manganese, and molybdenum. Those elements are critical to making alloys of iron and nickel which can be hardened into tools such as mining implements and the heat-resistant alloys needed to build rocket engines. Getting industrial facilities in orbit which can manufacture more mining tools and rockets will create a feedback loop accelerating the rate at which platinum group metals can be harvested, as well as the rate of development of space infrastructure needed for human colonies …

Asteroid Filled With Gold And Most Expensive Things in Space

What are asteroids? And what's the difference between asteroids, comets, and meteors? When you think of asteroids, if ever you ever do, don’t just picture rocky celestial bodies, flying somewhere between the planets. Asteroids are much more curious and unique. Did you know they can contain huge amounts of valuable elements? Or that some asteroids can be unimaginably expensive? It’s true!

"The Wealth of Space for the Whole of Humanity"

Space is for everyone. The National Geographic Society was formed in 1888 for the "increase and diffusion of geographical knowledge". The Asteroid Society, formed in 2015, will bring the wonders of Space into each and every household worldwide...

WORLDS TO EXPLORE

The Asteroid Society embraces exploration, education, science, and storytelling to protect the boundless wealth of space for all humankind.

The Asteroid Society is to Space what The National Geographic was to the Planet. However, we’ve got an incredible twist as well. By being part of the Asteroid Society, you and millions upon millions of others, will ensure the untold wealth of space will be for you and your posterity. It is up to us, you and me, and those we know to make sure the elite, the empires, the sovereignty don’t just grab it for themselves. Surprisingly, the Outer Space Treaty gives us this right to claim, while precluding them. All you must do is make the claim.
Much like the National Geographic Society made us aware of the wonders of this planet, and we joined to save all creatures small and large, The Asteroid Society will envelop you in the astounding and astonishing treasure to be found in space, as we, together, explore the wonders of our final frontier and make it ours.
No Hype, no Hyperbole… just as a common-sense approach to firmly establishing your claim to space!
There is no doubt it is happening now, the real question is … “Will you be part of it?”

Imagine you are an astronaut.

The (Outer Space) Treaty in its present form appears to contain no prohibition regarding individual appropriation or acquisition by a private association or an international organization, even if other than the United Nations. Thus, at present, an individual acting on his own behalf or on behalf of another individual or a private association or an international organization could lawfully appropriate any part of outer space, including the moon and other celestial bodies.

OUR MISSION

The UNIVERSAL DECLARATION of the EXPLORATION of SPACE

This Universal Declaration is a milestone document in the history of human exploration. It will serve as an outline for the future expansion of humankind into the vast reaches of space presented as a common standard of achievements for all peoples and all nations.
It sets out, for the first time, the fundamental and self-evident recognition of the right of all humankind to the vast wealth of space now within our grasp. Furthermore, it supports an unchallengeable position that each and every human being has the right to claim the incomprehensible wealth of space and to receive the benefits therefrom.
Preamble
Whereas, there is a full recognition of the inherent value of space. That each member of the human family has an equal and inalienable right to claim what is inherently theirs within the basic foundation of freedom, justice and peace and prosperity for all,
Whereas, it is essential that these human rights should be protected by the rule of law in all countries for the continued prosperity for humanity,
Whereas, it is essential to promote the development of friendly relations between nations while we proceed to develop space for the betterment of all,
Whereas, the Outer Space Treaty of 1967 has pledged to provide equal access and opportunity to the promotion of universal respect and cooperation in the development and claiming of the wealth of space,
Whereas, there is common understanding of these rights and freedoms for all as we enter into a new era of space exploration.
Now, therefore, we proclaim
THIS UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF EXPLORATION OF SPACE as a common desire for all peoples and all nations, to the end, that every individual and every nation, keeping this Declaration constantly in mind, shall strive by teaching and education to remember the rights given in the ratified Outer Space Treaty of 1967. These rights and freedoms will secure a universal and effective recognition and observance, both among the peoples of the world themselves and among the new generation of the peoples of space.
Article 1
It is agreed that all human beings are born free and equal. They are endowed, by their Creator, with certain rights to freedom, self-determination, and the ability to prosper both in spirit and soul to achieve their individual, family, and societal goals without undue interference by government, sovereignty, power or any other means. That these inalienable rights extend to the cosmos and are protected wherever humankind may find themselves now and in the future.
Article 2
All are entitled to all the rights set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Furthermore, no distinction shall be made on the basis of the political, jurisdictional or international status of the country or territory to which a person belongs, whether it be independent, trust, non-self-governing or under any other limitation of sovereignty.
Article 3
Everyone has the right to secure a claim on the wealth of space without encumbrance.
Article 4All human beings shall be allowed to partake in the vast wealth of space. No law shall be made by nation, sovereignty, power or position to impede the ability of anyone to make their claim to space. These benefits should be made available to all humankind.
Article 5Everyone has the right to recognition of this right as a universal law.
Article 6All are equal and are entitled without any discrimination to equal protection. All are entitled to equal protection against any discrimination in violation of this Declaration and against any incitement to such discrimination.
Article 7
It is universally recognised that no interference shall befall anyone in the pursuit of prosperity, in their privacy, in their relationships, in their family, in their home, or in their correspondence. Nor, shall anyone be impuned upon their honour or reputation. Everyone has the right to the protection of a universal law against such interference or attacks.
Article 8
All peoples have an intrinsic right to claim space, alone as well as in association with others. No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of this right by nations, sovereignty, power, or status as stated within this Declaration.
Article 9
There is universal agreement that each person has the right to freedom of exploration in space through virtual and no-virtual means; this right includes freedom to explore, speculate, claim and enjoy the benefits, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest the outcome of such claiming and exploration to themselves and their posterity.
Article 10
There is a universal intrinsic right to freedom to imagine and express; this right includes freedom to hold opinions and ideas without interference from nations, government, sovereignty, power and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media not bound by celestial territories. Space will remain free and open allowing an interchange of expression for the betterment of all humankind.
